To create a Surftree web page:
- Make an HTML file with an APPLET tag. The HTML file specifies the size and location of the Surftree and tells the browser to load the Surftree applet.
- Place the Surftree APPLET file in the location specified by the HTML code.
- Create a DATA FILE in CSV (comma separated values) format (or zipped CSV format). This data file defines the structure of the tree. CSV files can be saved directly from spreadsheets, a databases, or a text editors.
You can control the "look and feel" of the Surftree with an OPTIONAL PARAMETERS FILE. The font, color, and icons for each node of the tree can also be specified on a line by line basis in the DATA FILE.
For more information about creating Surftree applications see the Features Demo or read about this demo in the Ski Industry Directory Demo.
